Prof. Erdem Denk is a faculty member at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences (Mülkiye), within the Department of International Relations. Focusing his academic research on international law, political history, and the origins of the state, Denk is the founder of Arkeopolitics—an interdisciplinary initiative designed to bridge the gap between archaeology and political science.
His work explores the evolution of human societies, focusing on the long-term transformation of power dynamics, legal structures, and social organization. Beyond his academic research, he is actively involved in public outreach through “Arkeopolitics Summer Schools” and digital content production, aiming to make deep-time historical perspectives accessible to a broader audience.
